Reporting Results After Election Night
Election results are not final on Election Night. Ballot counting and verification continue during the official canvass period.
The following ballots may still be processed and counted after Election Day:
- Vote by Mail ballots returned by Election Day and received within seven (7) days of Election Day
- Conditional Voter Registration (same-day registration) ballots
- Provisional ballots
- Ballots requiring additional review or verification
As ballots are processed and verified, results will be updated according to the post-Election Day reporting schedule shown below.

Certified Election Results for the 2026 Statewide Direct Primary Election
Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) Dean C. Logan certified the final results for the June 2, 2026 Statewide Direct Primary Election on June 26, the first day counties are permitted to certify under the timeframe prescribed in the California Elections Code.
A total of 2,227,461 ballots were processed and counted, with 37.81% of eligible voters casting ballots in Los Angeles County. For specific election results, visit LAVOTE.GOV.
The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to declare the election officially concluded on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
